Claw is an odd-one-out game in a retro claw machine. Fifteen of the sixteen prizes follow a secret rule. Send the claw after the one that doesn't.
How it works
There are five rounds a day. Each round fills the machine with sixteen prizes, and fifteen of them have something in common. Tap a prize to send the claw after it.
If you grab the odd one out, the claw drops it in the prize chute. If you grab one that fits the rule, it slips out and you lose a coin.
You get three coins a round. Getting it on the first coin is 100 points, the second is 50 and the third is 25. Use all three and you get nothing for that round, so 500 is a perfect day.
The hint
Each round shows a hint in the corner of the screen, like Habitat, Season or Material. It tells you what kind of rule to look for, not the rule itself.
After each round you'll see what the rule was and why the odd one didn't fit.
Example
The hint is Habitat. You see a fish, a crab, a dolphin, an octopus, a whale... and a camel. Everything else lives in water, so the camel is the odd one out.
Not every round is that obvious. If nothing stands out, use the hint to think of a few possible rules and see which one only one prize breaks.
Tips
- 1Read the hint first. It narrows things down a lot.
- 2Look at all sixteen before you grab anything.
- 3If two prizes both seem odd, there's probably a more specific rule. Think again.
- 4The later rounds are harder, so take your time there.
