Linkup

Play →

Linkup gives you two words and four options. Find the one word that connects to both of them.

How it works

Each call has two words. Pick the word that goes with both of them. For example, Coffee and Computer link with Java.

The other options are decoys. Each one fits one of the words, but not the other.

If you pick wrong, that plug goes dead and you try again until you get it. There are six calls a day, and your score is how many you got right the first time.

Example

The words are Bed and Paper, and the options are Sheet, Ink, Pen and Pillow. Ink and Pen go with Paper, and Pillow goes with Bed. Only Sheet works with both.

That's usually the trick: check each option against both words, not just the one it reminds you of.

Tips

  1. 1Check every option against both words.
  2. 2The link can be a different meaning of the word, like Java the coffee and Java the programming language.
  3. 3If an option clearly fits one word, ask if it also fits the other.
  4. 4Don't rush. Your score only counts first tries.
