Glance is five short visual tests a day, picked from a pool of ten. Each one is worth 100 points, and it's about accuracy, not speed.
How it works
Each day you get five tests from a pool of ten, and everyone gets the same ones in the same order. Each test explains what to do first, then runs once.
Every test is scored out of 100. You're only scored on accuracy, so there's no rush unless the test itself is timed.
The tests
- Flash Count: dots flash up for a moment. How many were there?
- Odd Shade: one tile is a slightly different colour. Find it.
- Snapshot: some cells light up for two seconds. Tap the ones that were lit.
- Lineup: stretch a line until it's the same length as the reference.
- Track: one ball flashes, then they all shuffle. Tap it when they stop.
- Afterimage: a shape flashes, then you pick it out of four look-alikes.
- Shade Memory: remember a colour, then find it in a lineup.
- Crowd Search: find one symbol hiding in a crowd of similar ones.
- Missing Piece: one tile of a pattern disappears. Pick the piece that fits.
- Direction: arrows flash up. Guess what share pointed one way.
More to play
After the daily, you can do practice runs or play past days. There's a daily leaderboard for you and your friends too.
Example
Flash Count shows you a burst of dots for a split second. Don't try to count them one by one. Look for small groups of two or three, add those up, and go with your gut.
On Track, keep your eyes on the one ball the whole time instead of watching the group. If you lose it, tap the one closest to where you last saw it.
Tips
- 1Read each test's instructions properly. You only get one go.
- 2For memory tests, try to remember shapes and patterns instead of single cells.
- 3For colour tests, turn your screen brightness up and avoid glare.
- 4It's a game, not an eye test. Your screen and lighting make a difference.
