Crowd asks five yes-or-no questions a day, like whether cereal is a soup. You vote, then predict what percentage of players said yes. The closer your prediction, the more you score.
How it works
Each question has two steps. First you vote yes or no with your own opinion; your vote joins the count for everyone after you. Then you set the dial to the percentage of players you think said yes.
Drop your card in the box and the real percentage counts up. You score 100 minus the number of points you were off, so a perfect day is 500.
Starter votes
Every question starts with 50 starter votes set at a sensible guess, so the first players of the day aren't judged on a handful of answers. Real votes soon outweigh them, and each result tells you how many real players it's based on.
Example
The question is “Is a hot dog a sandwich?” You vote no. You suspect plenty of people are just as sure it is, so you predict 40%. The crowd says 34%: you're 6 off and score 94.
Tips
- 1Your own opinion is a poor guide. Think about how strongly other people feel.
- 2Questions everyone agrees on are the easy points. Don't overthink them.
- 3Very few questions land at exactly 50%. Commit to a side.
